-The weaponsmith trading under the Manor House Mob name without permission has expanded his operation, and is now working alongside an armoursmith. They both maintain they are working directly for a Mr Keswick and a Mr Carlisle.\\
+Several factions and organised freelancer groups have carried out some quite public executions of what they are claiming were Government infiltrators. It isn't clear how they were identified, but it does seem to be a strange coincidence that several happened within a couple of weeks of each other.\\

-The Red Sky phenomenon has claimed a number of lives, mostly of freelancers out on missions when the Red Sky struck. Some organised freelancer groups have let it be known that substantial amounts of money await anyone that can produce a portable shelter or other defence that has rigorous testing data to go with it. One or two of the Bars have also offered bounties for reliable data so that they can start to ship in whatever is needed to solve this. There is definitely a note of desperation in such requests...\\
+The Truthers in particular have been displaying a very uncharacteristic level of brutality, with two members being taken out of a base camp and nailed to nearby trees before being shot dead 24 hours later. A couple of Awakened watching over the Truther camp reported that both victims had wounds on their left forearms consistent with something being cut out of them.\\

+A former corporate security officer turned freelancer has been telling tales of a band of freelancers that assaulted his employers and forced him to flee (hence his abrupt career change). He doesn't bear any particular ill will, business is business, but he is telling a curious tale about a red sky hitting them all mid-fight. The freelancers outside the buildings all collapsed, as would be expected, but when the red sky ended they all got up again. The tale has gotten a little outlandish in the re-telling, but the core fact remains. Someone has the means to survive the red sky. Tech like that is worth a fortune...\\

On days with little to no risk of a Red Sky the work is paying roughly what it always did, but by the 4th day the payments start to increase. By the 7th day no work is taken up regardless of pay as everyone knows the Red Sky will hit. A handful of freelancer groups, the bottom-feeders that can rarely get hired, have taken work on day 6 or 7 and made a small fortune, but a high proportion have died trying.\\

Clients have reported that they haven't received deliveries and the shed they are reputed to work out of has been locked up, with a warning daubed on the walls outside. Rumours suggest that they were not in fact affiliated with the Manor House Mob and punishment for saying so has been enacted.\\

-A vast explosion was reported over the weekend, visible from several miles away. A few brave scouts went into the area shortly afterwards and reported a 30m radius blast area with the trees scorched for a further 20-30m or so. The epicentre of the blast appears to be an access hatch for an underground facility. A couple of people have reported entering the facility and have reported absolute devastation within. No doubt scavengers will be picking over the site for a while to come, but anything usable was destroyed outright and there are a lot of bodies within. Any survivors have long since quit the area. The attackers have not been identified, but no-one is reporting any Bar contracts to do such a thing, so the immediate suspicion is corporate sabotage.\\
+Elias is finally dead. The Bars have reported that their collective bounty has been claimed and the proof of death was considered highly reliable. He was reportedly found in the last of the grey masks and has been identified using the only known photograph of him. Concerns have been raised amongst some more long-standing Zone residents that Elias's list of complaints is still outstanding and it's only a matter of time before someone else steps up.\\

-Some kind of drone aircraft was shot down, and the black box recovered. Whilst small drones were used for courier duty a while back they were abandoned as too easy to shoot down, so it remains something of a mystery as to why someone has started using them again, and wondering quite what one of this size would be for only fuels the speculation.\\

They were a strange mix of soldiers, freelancers and a couple of known faction members, but they all had some kind of device implanted at the base of their skull. The scavengers have sold the devices on, but have been quite free with the story of what they found.\\

-Reports of freelancers high on various narcotics have been increasing steadily of late, but rumour suggests the primary source of the drugs has now been shot and killed. Stories of a mysterious "Pillboy" who refuses to communicate with others are starting to spread, with the most common being that the Pillboy was either killing off the competition or acquiring new supplies for himself without paying.\\

A very substantial bounty was raised on them, and two of the three bounties were collected very, very quickly. The hunt is on for the third influencer but a great many freelancers have said they will not make any attempt on this bounty. Quiet enquiries are being made as to who raised the bounty on three unarmed entirely harmless civilians.\\

-Violence against corporte targets has taken a marked step upwards. Some Bar contracts have called for wholesale slaughter or overt destruction of property on a far larger scale than previously. No-one is sure whether or not this is an escalation of corporate espionage, or whether an outside source is declaring war.
+An as yet unidentified individual has been distributing bacon sandwiches at various freelancer hangouts and outside the Bar. It isn't clear why, what they hoped to gain by this or where they got the bacon. The last question is proving to be the main sticking point, with the saga of the lamb salesmen suddenly looming large in people's minds and those who consumed the sandwiches are suddenly rather concerned at their own lack of foresight.
