This is an old revision of the document!
This shit just doesn't get talked about often enough. The disaster hit in 2023, the Zone was formally created later that year. In just 9 years the Zone has seen roughly a 25-30% expansion in diameter. Scale that up for area, you're looking at a nearly 60% increase in area. Granted, a big chunk of that is out to sea, but that's still a pretty serious problem for Irish Sea shipping.
Now we're hearing there's been another expansion, this time the barriers are being pushed out a full mile. Rumour has it this is causing serious grief at the Government staging area in Barrow-in-Furness. Too much further and the boundary walls are going to push Barrow into the sea once and for all.
Worst is, no-one knows why the Zone expands, why it's such a short, sharp process, or what triggers it. Face it, none of us have the first fucking clue why the Zone is here at all. Some of us are watching the numbers, and collecting the data and we see a clear pattern.
